Book Quotes #3 - March

Thankfully I read quite a few books with great quotes in this month so I have six quotes to share with you (so much better than last month):

1) "There are two kinds of guilt" I say softly. "The kind that's a burden and the kind that gives you a purpose. Let your guilt be your fuel. Let it remind you of who you want to be."
- Page 376 An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

2) "Fear is only your enemy if you allow it to be.. too much fear and you're paralysed...too little fear and your arrogant...Fear can be good. It can keep you alive. But don't let it control you."
-Page 424 An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

So these first two quotes are from the same book and they both focus on the idea of dealing with negative emotions and feelings and controlling the impact that they have on your actions.

3) "The truth was always better than a lie, no matter how scary it might be."
Page 25 Dirty Blood by Heather Hildenbrand

4) "Ignorance isn't bliss. It's completely frustrating."
Becoming Alpha by Aileen Erin

These two quotes are from separate books but both highlight the importance of being told the truth.

5) "Unfortunately, our minds are our greatest assets and our biggest flaw."
Sapphires Divinity by Justine Winter

Yes, yes, yes, your imagination; it's great when you reading, it can picture the landscape, the characters, your imagination bring the whole story to life and it's great. However, your imagination when your trying to get to sleep after watching a scary film....not so great!

 6) "The mark of the true hero is that the most heroic of his deeds is done in secret."
The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen

This quote is maybe suggesting that a person's 'true colour's' shine when nobody else is around?

Many of those quotes seem to be quite serious and thought provoking - seriously wasn't planed like that!

Have you found any good quotes in the books you read in March?Let me know in the comments below.
